East and Southeast Asia Community Conservation Network

About the network

East and Southeast Asia are home to abundant natural resources. Yet these vital ecosystems are increasingly threatened by biodiversity loss, climate change, and unsustainable development. Because of the region’s interconnected geographies, shared ecological corridors, and the presence of densely populated communities, addressing these challenges requires coordinated, cross-border solutions involving domestic CSOs and local people.

In response, 11 environmental NGOs and CSOs from eight countries came together in 2021 to establish the East and Southeast Asia Community Conservation Network (EASACCN), aiming to provide a platform for local CSOs and communities to share experiences and form collaboration.
